Henry Mitchell, a native of Lanarkshire, identified a need for a local firm of Chartered Accountants whcih could meet the varied needs of a diverse client base with commitment and dedication. This concept together with the application of the principles that led to the success of the Glasgow office has resulted in William Duncan & Co, Hamilton becoming one of the most successful firm of Chartered Accountants in Lanarkshire. In addition to the day to day management of the Hamilton office, Henry has the responsibility for providing a wide range of clients with audit and taxation compliance services and specialist advice relevant to the needs of successful small and medium sized private companies and other businesses.
His wide ranging experience includes the preparation of business plans and fund-raising for business start-ups or expansion projects, part of the cost of which may be funded by Government grants.
