William Duncan & Co, Hamilton was established in 1984 under the control of the resident partner, Henry T Mitchell.
In March 1993 expansion of the office dictated a move to new premises at Silverwells House, 114 Cadzow Street, Hamilton. The building, a Victorian Villa, in what was originally one of the first residential areas in Hamilton, is now the centre of Hamilton's commercial community and is within close proximity to the town's banks, solicitors and other professional advisers together with the local offices of HM Inspector of Taxes and HM Customs and Excise. The office is conveniently placed for access to the Lanarkshire motorway network together with public transport routes. There is a private car park at the rear of the building.
The building was refurbished to the firm's specification and consequently the tailor made offices provide modern accomodation with excellent facilities. These include a fully modernised computer network which employs the most up to date versions of all the industry standard software packages. Meetings and conference facilities are also available.
