Tarbert
The office in Tarbert was established in 1987 to assist a variety of rural businesses and has grown significantly. There are 5 members of staff who deal with a broad range of accounting, auditing and taxation services. The office overlooks the harbour in the centre of the fishing village of Tarbert. Argyll is a splendid place to achieve the right balance of work and lifestyle.
After qualifying with a mid tier firm in Glasgow, John's desire to live and work abroad was fulfilled while working for the big 4 in South Africa and Hong Kong. On returning to Scotland with his wife and family he chose to live in Argyll and develop a rural accounting practice.
For more than 20 years he has provided accounting, taxation, audit and related advisory services to a broad range of businesses and developed a sound practice.
He enjoys golfing and sailing in the summer and skiing in the winter and will watch most sports.
